Agnellotreffen is one of the most famous winter motorcycle rallies in Europe, held every year in Pontechianale, in the Piedmont region of Italy.
The event takes place in the middle of winter, with freezing temperatures, snow-covered mountains, and thousands of motorcyclists gathering to celebrate something greater than just motorcycles: friendship, adventure, and resilience.
My participation in Agnellotreffen 2026 was a unique experience — and in this article, I will share everything: preparation, challenges, the route, and unforgettable moments lived in the snow.
🏍️ How It All Started: The Invitation That Changed Everything
My journey with Agnellotreffen began in 2025 after watching videos on YouTube and hearing stories from fellow motorcyclists.
It was Chapas (Portuguese), known as @chapas_biker, who had already participated in 2024, who invited me to live this experience.
The first participation was remarkable — but in 2026, I knew I needed to return even better prepared.
🧰 Preparing for Agnellotreffen 2026
In 2025, I participated with a BMW F800R. In 2026, I rode a BMW F750GS, much better suited to handle wet roads, intense cold, and snow.
To face the winter conditions, I brought:
Full thermal clothing
Heated gloves
Snow pants and jacket
Winter sleeping bag
Tent
Power banks
Even with all the preparation, fear was still present. The forecast predicted snow, increasing the sense of responsibility and tension before the trip.
🛣️ The Route to Pontechianale: From Milan to the Snow
Our journey started in Milan, heading toward Pontechianale, covering approximately 300 km.
During the trip, we faced:
🌧️ Rain in the plains
❄️ Snow in the mountains
🌫️ Intense cold
Unfortunately, one motorcycle in the group experienced mechanical problems along the way, and a friend had to stop the journey. It was a difficult moment, but it showed the importance of unity and group spirit.
🏕️ Arrival at the Campsite: An Unforgettable Welcome
When we arrived at the event, the feeling was indescribable: happiness, lightness, and zero worries. It was as if everything made sense in that moment.
Seeing thousands of motorcycles gathered on the snow was surreal.
In 2026, unlike 2025, the snow was already present when we arrived.
A very special moment was meeting friends who were already at the campsite waiting for us:

👥 Our International Group in the Snow
In both years, we always carried the flags of Brazil, Portugal, and Italy, which attracted a lot of attention — after all, Brazilians in the snow never go unnoticed.
Our group in 2026 consisted of:
Chapas, Edna, Zio Mario, Jorge, and his wife — coming from Switzerland with 4 motorcycles
Jefferson, Gilberto, Márcio Jojo — 4 motorcycles departing from Milan
Edipo, César, Diego, Raul, and Andreia — also with 4 motorcycles departing from Verona
Watching our group grow with each edition was one of the most meaningful moments of this journey.
🔥 Life at Agnellotreffen: Tent, Cold, and Campfire
To truly experience Agnellotreffen, you need to sleep in a tent — and that’s exactly what we did.
Despite the intense cold, the night was much calmer than we expected. Even with parties going on overnight, we managed to rest well.
Setting up the tents on the snow was the biggest physical challenge.
But the most special moment was undoubtedly sitting around the campfire — where stories, laughter, and real friendships are born.
🏁 The Return Home and Thoughts About Next Year
The return trip was smooth, even with rain and snow in some sections. The roads were clean and safe.
When I arrived home, I was already thinking about the next edition.
Yes — I will be at Agnellotreffen 2027.

Agnellotreffen is not just about motorcycles. It is about people, trust, and human connections.
There, we meet people we have never seen before — but who quickly become friends.
This experience strengthened my vision of motorcycle tourism and unique travel experiences. My future goal is to take other people to live something like this.
